Mikey’s takes the safety and well being of our customers and staff seriously. Here are the steps we’re taking to keep our community healthy.
Employee Health and Hygiene
- Assess symptoms of workers and check temperatures throughout shifts
- Provide Covid-19 staff training of when employees should stay home and/or leave work
- Instruct sick employees to stay home and follow CDC guidelines for Covid-19
- Will contact public health if an employee is diagnosed with Covid-19
- Require employees to wear face coverings and gloves
Social Distancing
- Limit occupancy to 50% seating capacity
- Limit table seating to 6
- Keep available tables 10 feet apart
- No self-service food operations
Dining Areas
- Keep bar area closed
- Keep playground area closed
- No shared menus (disposable menus available upon request)
- Staff to wash/sanitize hands before helping patrons or handling food
- Sanitize pens used by customers after each use
- Sanitize and distance outdoor seating area
Cleaning and Disinfection
- Train employees on cleaning and disinfecting procedures and protective measures per CDC and FDA guidelines
- Frequently sanitize tables and high touch surfaces
- No preset tableware
- Disinfect coolers and to-go containers frequently
- Verify dishwasher temperature and detergent levels daily
