Safe Service Practices

Mikey’s takes the safety and well being of our customers and staff seriously. Here are the steps we’re taking to keep our community healthy.

Employee Health and Hygiene

  • Assess symptoms of workers and check temperatures throughout shifts
  • Provide Covid-19 staff training of when employees should stay home and/or leave work
  • Instruct sick employees to stay home and follow CDC guidelines for Covid-19
  • Will contact public health if an employee is diagnosed with Covid-19
  • Require employees to wear face coverings and gloves

Social Distancing

  • Limit occupancy to 50% seating capacity
  • Limit table seating to 6
  • Keep available tables 10 feet apart
  • No self-service food operations

Dining Areas

  • Keep bar area closed
  • Keep playground area closed
  • No shared menus (disposable menus available upon request)
  • Staff to wash/sanitize hands before helping patrons or handling food
  • Sanitize pens used by customers after each use
  • Sanitize and distance outdoor seating area

Cleaning and Disinfection

  • Train employees on cleaning and disinfecting procedures and protective measures per CDC and FDA guidelines
  • Frequently sanitize tables and high touch surfaces
  • No preset tableware
  • Disinfect coolers and to-go containers frequently
  • Verify dishwasher temperature and detergent levels daily
